Introduction to Open Access

Open Access makes high-quality, peer-reviewed content freely available for anyone to access. It will not be hidden by a paywall, meaning increased discoverability, usage, and higher citations. As long as the original source is acknowledged and cited, readers are allowed to redistribute, re-use and adapt the content in new works (in accordance with the Creative Commons licence selected).

All submissions are fully peer-reviewed, with acceptance decisions being made by an international Editorial Board independently of the Publisher, and we have publishing agreements with many institutions, so you might be able to submit your work OA without paying a fee. To find out more about OA submissions, please email: oaqueries@cambridge.org
